Is there a religious affiliation?
This Oshun Masterclass is NOT affiliated with any religious organization or practice. The approach for this Masterclass will be to connect with the aspect of Oshun that is pure love, joy, and high vibrational.
Who is Oshun?
Oshun is the mother of fertility, beauty, love, intimacy, abundance, feminity, and so many other vibrations that create beauty and meaning in this world. She is an Orisha, an energy, a Goddess. Oshun is manifested as a Supreme Being amongst the Yoruba religions of West Africa. She is celebrated worldwide.
Pataki of Oshun (a story): Oshun is the youngest of the Orishas sent by God to create the Earth. Her sweet waters flowed through rivers and cascades throughout our planet. The other Orishas disregarded Oshun. They thought of her as meaningless and unimportant. So she went back to the Heavens. Soon the Earth started to dry up, and the food supply was finishing before the other Orishas started to question where Oshun was. They went to heaven to inform God that they couldn't fulfill the mission. The planet was dry and barren. As they spoke, God asked where Oshun was. They then realized the significance of Oshun's energy and vibrancy on the planet. She creates life, beauty, and abundance. The Orishas promised never to dismiss her again. The Orishas value, honor, and have great respect for Oshun.

Anyone feeling a curiosity or a pull to connect with a motherly energy. Oshun doesn't want the people of this planet to become bitter about the everyday circumstances and human encounters. About your host:
Angie Rojo went through the initiation process of a year and 7 days with countless religious ceremonies to be anointed Daughter of Oshun in 2007. She was a practicing Priestess in the Lukumi religion (also known as Santeria) for 7 years before exiting that religious paradigm. Angie now works with the energy of Oshun from a harmonious, loving universal understanding and guidance that leads her life today. Many people are guided to Angie who are connected to Oshun and want to work with Oshun outside of a religious paradigm.
